NJHCQI Membership
Introduction
For the first time, The New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute (NJHCQI) is inviting individuals to join its collective experiment. The NJHCQI is the only independent and impartial advocate for medical quality in our state. We are invested in outcomes which improve the well being of our citizens and work to constrain costs.
Previously, we have limited membership in the NJHCQI to organizations and companies. Our Board recently made the decision to open our membership to all New Jersey citizens in order to dramatically increase the number of people who will become advocates of quality health care and help us in our effort to reduce medical errors and control costs. We have therefore created a new "NJHCQI Individual Council" to join our existing Leadership, Provider, Purchaser, Plan, Association, Professional and Consumer Councils.

Your membership and your seat at the Individual Council table entitle you to:
- An invitation to attend special NJHCQI conferences (ONLY NJHCQI members are permitted to attend these conferences.)
- Free Subscription to "Symptoms & Cures," our biweekly newsletter which keeps those interested in New Jersey health care matters up to date on the latest news and events.
- Free Subscription to NJHCQI "Quality Alerts," which bring breaking health care news to you by email.
- Access to other NJHCQI members and staff through a brand new "New Jersey Health Care Quality Social Network" which will link you directly to others in our state concerned about quality health care
- Listing on our "Partners in Quality" page to publicly demonstrate your commitment to improving health care quality in New Jersey (unless you choose not to have your name listed)
- Access to our special "Vial of Life" personal medical history project which enables you to safely and securely store your medical information electronically
- Access to a special section of our website providing a searchable data base of New Jersey health care information
How Do I Join?
Please click here to fill out an application. Your tax deductible annual membership contribution is $89.95. This investment will help us continue to pursue the cause of health care quality by reducing medical errors and improving quality health care delivery in New Jersey. Once you have completed your application and made your contribution, we will provide you with your password to access our "members only" section and enter your email address in our subscription databases. You will later be invited to join our new Social Network.
Note: NJHCQI does not sell its member list or information. We are only able to advance the cause of health care quality through investments and a commitment made by NJHCQI Council members.
